In 2018, the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Peace Messengers were recognized for their 20 years of efforts and received a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. Building on this recognition, they visited the Nobel Committee in Norway to directly promote their activities. Additionally, they expanded their outreach by visiting local high schools and various organizations in the region.
